Flair Bartending Lesson #65: Double Over Shoulder Into Tin

If you’ve learned last week’s lesson, the Double Over the Shoulder, this week’s move is an excellent, simple addition.

Make sure you are using a 750 ml FlairCo bottle or some other bottle that will fit into your 28 oz cocktail shaker. A 1 liter bottle may technically fit into the tin, but there’s just not quite enough room to land this flair move without driving yourself nuts trying to learn it.

Make sure you’re keeping the bottle straight up and down (vertical.) If you just learned the Double Over The Shoulder, the bottle might be coming over your shoulder at a slight angle. You’ll have to smooth that out before you can land this move.

I like this move because it’s relatively simply exhibition flair bartending and it lends itself nicely into moving into some other smooth 1 bottle 1 tin flair moves.
