Twin Cities Live: Fall Cocktails with Sidekick Glassware

Today was my 5th time on a local program called Twin Cities Live. This time, my segment was about making Fall & Halloween Cocktails. Most excitingly, I got to use the Sidekick glassware for these drinks which were perfect for the “Candied Apple Cider” and especially the dry ice in the “Bubbling Cauldron.” If you want to get a set of your own – AND get 10% of your order – click on the link next to my logo at the top of the page and be sure to use the coupon code FBTV. Recipes are below the video.

Candied Apple Cider

1 oz Bourbon
4 oz of Apple Cider
3 Slices of Apple
Pat of Butter
1 Table Spoon Brown Sugar
Cinnamon (ground)
Nutmeg (ground)
Sugar
Cinnamon Stick (for garnish)

Preparation: Add cinnamon and sugar to a dish and use it to rim a lowball glass (like you would salt for a margarita.) In a saucepan on medium heat, melt butter and sauté apples for 5-7 minutes until soft. Sprinkle with pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg. Add brown sugar and a splash of water. Let caramelize for 1 minute. Remove from heat and place in bottom of lowball glass (preferably a Sidekick lowball.) Muddle the apples. Pour in bourbon and top with cider. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and enjoy.

Bubbling Cauldron

1 1/4 oz. Blavod Black Vodka
4 oz. of white grape juice or white cranberry juice
Few small pieces of dry ice
2 frozen black grapes

Place dry ice in bottom of Sidekick lowball. Add ice and juice. Top with black vodka. Garnish with grapes and enjoy.
